App maker, Facebook has just announced its
acquisition of Mobile Technologies, a developer of voice recognition technology
and voice through the translator. Allegedly related to the purchase of this new
product based voice technology that will be developed Facebook. Tom Stocky,
Director of Product Management of Facebook via her Facebook status to say that
Facebook is excited to announce it has agreed to acquire Mobile Technologies, a
company with an amazing team behind the technology of speech recognition and
machine translation in the world.
App maker, Mobile Technologies is a company that develops
Jibbigo, apps for iPhone and Android which is claimed as the first voice to
voice translator who runs the world online and offline it that have been
supported by more than 25 languages.

has become the sound of an increasingly important way for users to navigate the
web and mobile devices, and this technology will help us develop our products
to keep pace with this evolution," said Tom (app maker) as reported by
Mashable,
"We believe this acquisition is a long-term investment plan of our products which we continue towards our corporate mission," he added. The acquisition value is not known, but Facebook does not plan to close an app maker that has been around since the 2009's. This acquisition will bring technology Mobile Technologies and its employees to move to Facebook headquarters in Menlo Park, California.
